Academic, Governmental, and Non-Profit Research Institution Licences: To obtain an academic, governmental, or non-profit license, please contact VASP Software GmbH directly by sending an email to licensing@vasp.at. (Note: these licences can also be acquired from Materials Design Inc.)

Commercial Licenses: For commercial licenses, please contact Materials Design Inc., the exclusive worldwide distributor for commercial users. You can purchase directly from Materials Design Inc. or through one of their official resellers.
Important Notice: Beware of illegal VASP copies! All legitimate licenses originate from either the VASP Software GmbH or Materials Design Inc., and are either:
- From the VASP Software GmbH, signed by Georg Kresse or another employee of the VASP Software GmbH.
- Covered by a license agreement from Materials Design Inc. All legal copies are centrally registered.
